Lone Star Leash Services provides personalized in-home dog boarding in Austin, Texas. Since 2013, I’ve welcomed dogs into my home and cared for them as part of the household, with plenty of attention, companionship, and a comfortable home environment.

Growing up, I had a Wire Hair Fox Terrier named Izzy, and I’ve loved dogs ever since. Through the years, friends and family have always counted on me to care for their pets. After moving to Austin in 2008, I was inspired by just how dog-friendly the city is, and in 2013 I started Lone Star Leash Services. I love welcoming dogs into my home, getting to know their individual personalities, and making them feel comfortable while their people are away.
My Dog Family
The current Lone Star Leash resident dog family is Valerie, Tina, Rachel, and Susan. They’re a big part of everyday life here and help make Lone Star Leash feel like a home rather than a traditional boarding facility.
Valerie is a Coton de Tulear, and Tina, Rachel, and Susan are French Bulldogs. Each has a very different personality, and together they make for a lively, funny, and very dog-centered household.
