A Comfortable Stay in a Real Home — Not a Kennel

When your dog stays at Lone Star Leash Services, they’re not going to a facility — they’re staying in a safe, relaxed home environment where they’re treated like part of the family.

My goal is simple:
👉 Keep your dog comfortable, safe, and as close to their normal routine as possible while you’re away.

🐶 What Your Dog’s Stay Looks Like

Dogs staying here enjoy a calm, structured, and supervised environment.

  • Time indoors relaxing, playing, or lounging

  • Supervised outdoor time in a secure, fenced yard

  • Regular potty breaks and walks as needed

  • A small, controlled group of dogs for safety and comfort

This is a home setting — not a high-volume operation — so your dog gets attention and consistency throughout their stay.

🛏️ Sleeping Arrangements

Every dog is different, and I try to keep things as close to home as possible.

Dogs can:

  • Sleep in a crate (if that’s what they’re used to)

  • Sleep on a dog bed

  • Sleep wherever they’re most comfortable

Just let me know your dog’s routine, and I’ll follow it.

⏰ Supervision & Time Alone

Dogs are rarely left alone for extended periods, and typically never longer than about 4 hours.

This helps reduce stress, prevent issues, and keep everyone safe and comfortable.

🍽️ Feeding & Routine

I follow your dog’s normal schedule as closely as possible:

  • Feeding times

  • Portion sizes

  • Medications (if needed)

  • Special instructions

Consistency is key, especially in a new environment.

🐕 Compatibility with Other Dogs

Because this is a shared home environment, all dogs must:

  • Be friendly and social with other dogs

  • Be comfortable in a group setting

  • Not show aggressive or resource-guarding behavior

This helps ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone.

📍 Location & Environment

Located in East Austin (78723), the home includes:

  • A secure, fenced yard

  • A quiet residential setting

  • A comfortable indoor space where dogs can relax

🤝 Meet & Greet (Required)

Before any first stay, we’ll schedule a free meet & greet.

This gives us a chance to:

  • Make sure your dog is comfortable in the space

  • Confirm compatibility with other dogs

  • Answer any questions you have

📦 What to Bring

For your dog’s stay, please bring:

  • Food (pre-portioned if possible)

  • Leash

  • Any medications

  • Bed, crate, or comfort items (optional)

⏱️ Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Because this is a home-based service, I ask that drop-off and pick-up times are as close to scheduled times as possible.

This helps keep the day running smoothly for all dogs in my care.
